Remembering Leanna

This November marks the 20th year since the passing of Leanna Piver. She died on November 7, 1998 after suffering extensive head injuries from a car accident on the way to workout with her GT Cheerleading squad. Leanna was 20 years old, a Dean's List student majoring in management, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, and a varsity cheerleader at Georgia Tech. Help ensure Leanna's legacy at Georgia Tech.

Her Legacy

The Leanna Piver Scholarship Endowment Fund was created by family, friends, and colleagues in memory of Leanna Rosemarie Piver (1978 - 1998). Each year an outstanding cheerleader that exudes Leanna's character will be awarded and named as the recipient of the Leanna Piver Scholarship.
